early age education on societal issues

what is the issue?

Progressive issues such as racism and climate change are often neglected topics at schools in Australia. There is a great number of children who are growing up with harmful mindsets that may be racist, sexist or homophobic.

This causes conflicts and other harmful occurences that would have been avoided with real education.

If the younger generation is educated about these progressive topics from an early age, there will be more understanding and insight into these societal issues.

our policy

Our  policy consists of programs which are designed to be age-appropriate given throughout primary school.

Modern topics such as racism, sexism and climate change will be taught in a conversational, non-biased way to allow children to make up their own minds about the issue.

These programs will also provide factual insight on topics that children might otherwise have learnt from biased social media, or unreliable sources. The SUS party will support and oversee all aspects of this program.

how does our policy help?

This policy will help create less conflict and harmful occurrences such as hate crimes and hate speech in the future.

Since these topics will be taught at such a young age, understanding of these topics will spread all throughout Australia.

People who may not have been informed otherwise can have new viewpoints and their own opinions on any societal issues.
